LITTLE RAVEN LOFT

The Client: A retired suburban couple seeking a city retreat

Color Inspiration: Bright and sunny orange hues

Our Favorite Room: The beautiful sunlit dining space

A retired couple made the decision to purchase a second home in the city after spending their lives in the Pennsylvania suburbs. The decision to purchase a loft in Denver was easy due to the city’s modern architecture and beautiful landscape.

The couple’s primary residence is traditional in style  , so they wanted  to branch out and embrace a more contemporary look and feel with their Denver loft. We curated a modern color palette of bold blue and warm orange hues, drawing inspiration from a dramatic Schumacher Chiang Mai Dragon textile.

High-end furniture and accessories were critical to the design. The couple specifically sought pieces that were modern and textural, while still being incredibly durable and innately comfortable.

Because the  dining area offers a city view and an abundance of natural lightwe chose a minimal light fixture that would not obstruct the large floor-to-ceiling windows and interfere with the incoming sunlight.

Our finishing touches to this project were the locally sourced, one-of-a-kind artworks we incorporated throughout the space.
